The first event held at the Eduard Isabekyan Exhibition hall, was the lecture “Eduard Isabekyan’s time” by art critic Martin Mikayelyan.
M.Mikayelyan had a lot of memories about the Master from the time he worked in the National Gallery during the years of Isabekyan’s tenure.
During the lecture, Mikayelyan tried to reveal Isabekyan’s artistic mindset, manera and style. He mentioned that for preseting his principality, Isabekyan successfully bypassing the current ideas, turned to historical episodes of the national past.
Vigen Ghazaryan, art critic, clarifying the disagreeable opinions,said. “Martin Mikayelyan tried to get out of Isabekyan’s art which was the cause of his cherished feelings and his approach was from a more subtle and aesthetic point of view.
